Duties of the Association of African Sports Confederations (AASC) shall be executed by a standing administrative organ, which is the Secretariat General of AASC.

The Secretariat General of the AASC shall be headed by a Secretary General appointed by the Executive Bureau, upon recommendation by AASC President.

Duties of the Secretary General

Reporting to the President, the AASC Secretary General shall head the administration of the AASC.

He shall take part with no voting right in all AASC Executive Bureau and General Assembly meetings. He shall be in charge of drafting, distributing and filing minutes and all other documents.

He shall be answerable to the President with regard to the management of funds placed at his disposal.

Practicalities

Any Confederation legally constituted and which aims to oversee a known or recognized sport discipline and which is also made up of at least (18) eighteen national federations affiliated to their respective international federations and wishes to become an AASC member shall submit an application duly signed by the President of the said association to the AASC Executive Bureau together with the membership fees.
